Chapter House Arts inc. were thrilled to find out their City of Melbourne 2013 arts grant application was successful. As a recipient of funding, Chapter House Lane will be assisted in its exhibition of its Annual Contemporary Art Program. Details of the 2013 program will be announced in November to coincide with our first anniversary.

The grant will allow us to continue presenting high quality, unseen works to the broad range of art and non-art audiences who view our space. It will also allow us to further our support for Australian artists. We will continue to keep the space free, and foster strong working relationships with artists – providing professionalism and advice in regards the entire exhibition process, from direction to display.

Not least, the grant recognises and validates the work we’ve put into the project to date and will hopefully assist us as we aim to generate further funding to cover our ongoing costs – one example of which is a need to replace the large glass windows which sadly suffer from attacks of vandalism.
